Mercedes-Benz to Reveal Vision For Entry Luxury Segment At IAA Mobility 2023
Mercedes-Benz is poised to present what it calls, a groundbreaking concept car at the upcoming IAA Mobility 2023 event in Munich, Germany. The company’s focus at the show will be the luxury automaker’s vision for the Mercedes‑Benz Entry Segment.
One of the highlights the company has planned for the event is the unveiling of the E-Class All-Terrain, completing the electric E-Class family.
The company will also show a sneak peek of its future e-mobility plans with the VISION EQXX technology program and the Vision One-Eleven super sports car, both of which represent the company’s ambition towards a fully electric future.
To complement its range of electric vehicles, Mercedes-Benz will also demonstrate its public and home EV charging solutions. The showcase aligns with the company’s goal of providing a seamless charging experience for its customers as they transition to electric vehicles.
The new CLA EV is expected to rival Tesla Model 3 in the entry luxury segment. It is also likely to be positioned against a next generation BMW EV based on its forthcoming Neue Klasse platform set to debut in 2025.
There are no firm details on specs or pricing of the electrified Mercedes-Benz CLA at the time of this writing. Given the success of Tesla Model 3 in major markets around the world, however, it is expected that Mercedes-Benz anticipated entry level offering will be competitive.
